For over six decades, the world's most important event in furniture and interior design has taken place in Milan. Salone del Mobile is renowned not only for its scale, prestigious participants, and high number of exhibitors and visitors from all corners of the world, but also for dictating the direction in which the aesthetics and functionality of interior spaces are heading globally.

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the fair's essential role in shaping the future of furniture design – a future that embraces sustainability, organic forms, and minimalist refinement.

The trends presented this year align perfectly with Nord Arin's vision: a celebration of nature, simplicity, and authenticity through natural materials, but with a welcome addition of fantasy and boldness in colors, textures, and patterns, born from people's need to escape the mundane, to dream, and to bring more magic into their lives.

From April 8-13, Nord Arin returned for the sixth time to Salone del Mobile as an exhibitor, where it presented emblematic brand pieces to the global community of furniture and interior design professionals under the concept "The essence of nature, transposed into design."

Our solid wood products were warmly received by hundreds of visitors who came to our stand, appreciating especially the silhouettes of our pieces, the organic design, and the impeccable attention to detail. The Cortina Collection continued to spark waves of admiration, impressing with its refined aesthetics and fluid lines that bring grace and dynamism to any space.

Also, the oval Sirius table - a creation of Brâncuși-inspired design - garnered increased interest and positive feedback from retailers, designers, and architects who visited our stand at the fair.

At this year's Salone del Mobile, we also had two premiere launches: the Silence sideboard, a minimalist piece with a 360° design, and the Bovary dining table, a creation that combines the durability and stability of oak wood with the simplicity of form and finishes.

It was a successful edition, where we recharged our energy and inspiration, made valuable connections for our brand, and explored new paths of creativity in product and furniture design.

1. Fluid lines, organic forms, and architectural details

One of the most prominent trends of the year is the return to rounded, fluid forms, which allow for ample and free circulation flows, without intrusive corners. Curved sofas, oval tables, or armchairs with voluminous silhouettes add dynamism and harmony to any space. When opting for furniture with sinuous lines, you achieve an elegant visual impact and create the feeling of a cocoon of comfort and safety.

Another important, but not necessarily new, trend is the predilection for integrating architectural details into furniture and interior design. Here we can mention arches, columns, or monolithic elements, which give structure and grandeur to the space.

Designers emphasized natural materials such as solid wood with open pores, travertine stone, or vegetable fibers. These not only add authenticity to the space but also create an emotional connection with nature.

While until recently, textures were predominantly present through upholstery and accessories, there is currently a growing predilection for sensory interiors, for furniture with textured and porous surfaces, which invite you to touch them and offer a pleasant tactile experience.

Neutral tones, inspired by natural landscapes – sandy beige, ochre, cream, sage green, dark shades of brown, and the color of the year, Mocha Mousse – were found in almost all collections, along with warm accents of burgundy red and terracotta red. These colors create a welcoming, relaxing, and versatile background, easy to adapt to any style.
